Christopher is a bright, articulate young man with a passion to pursue his dreams. Christopher suffers from Mitochondrial disease. The mitochondria within his cells causes damage and increases irritability and instability within the cell. 1 in 4000 people with this disease will die, making this disease deadlier than cancer. Christopher started coming to me for Reiki in hopes of alleviating symptoms of this disease. The difference in his energy before and after he gets off the table is remarkable. He reports that his movements are smoother and he states that he, “feels more at ease”. He engages more with others as his mood is significantly lightened.
